Decking Oil
6 of 6 found this helpful Brought this online, as two other companies/orders had cancelled on me due to lockdown, i was going to use my normal Ronseal branded deck oil, and would have been paying through the nose @£47 per 5ltrs. Absolutely outrageous!! So looked a bit deeper in the online searches and hey presto, 25ltrs for £65 from Rye Oil. Great product. Great price. Quick delivery. Really impressed. Enhanced the natural softwood boards of my deck, giving a deep wet look satin sheen. I put way too much on at first, which didn't soak in as quickly as I hoped, also previously using Ronseal ultimate deck oil has kind of sealed the wood making it less porous which did not help wiped excess off and was 2/3 days drying time,which was purely my fault(should dry quicker). Note to self. I will not use Ronseal ultimatedeck oil again as it leaves an almost paint like film on the deck which over time cracks and flakes, not as oil should do.
