40mm SkyWatcher Plossl
This 40mm Plossl from SkyWatcher , and similar brands , is a necessity with longer focal length telescopes , like Maks and big Dobs as a finder lens - they give great rich field views in short tube scopes as well - I have two of these lenses and they work really well with Binoviewers too .
Recommend them ? Definitely .

Lightweight , contrasty and definitely a keeper !
This is my first Orthoscopic eyepiece and I compared it last night on Jupiter`s Bands against my 5mm ED BST lens . While my BST is wider at 60 degrees and shows great definition on Jupiter`s Bands , the Ascension Orthoscopic 4.8mm gives more contrast to the point I was able to detect a faint darker patch at the top of the Planet - It works incredibly well on the Moon`s Craters as well !
