Not good for thin slices as machine is not capable of thin slicing
2 of 2 found this helpful We purchased the slicer for cured meats and we discovered that it does not slice cured meats thinly. It only slices quite thick slices even though we set the machine to slice thin the blade just completely missed the meat and would only slice it when it was set at a thick slice setting. Not recommended if you want thinly sliced ham, cured meats, etc.
