Psion Series 5 PDA

Good quality machine, portable and reliable. Good for its age.

I have several of these machines since they were first manufactured. I used to get them serviced when they went wrong or parts needed replacing. Now I again know a company that services them, I unlikely to need to buy another. I use it for keeping old personal data and passwords so I am independent of the internet.

Buy some thing different.

It relatively quickly stopped working. The manufacturers gave me a 25% rebate (I think). I got a good quality German push mower which is still working very well.

Small, hardy, does not connect to the internet.

It does what I expect it to do. It is small enough to carry around. I bought it to replace a Psion 5 computer I have had for many years. I use it for recording personal information directly to a solid state disc - so I do not lose information if it crashes. Also it does not connect to the internet so it cannot be hacked. All I need is two AA batteries and a small circular 3 volt lithium battery for back up. AMH.
