EHX Rules! Another Great Looper Evolution
I am biased - I’ve loved Electro Harmonix since I was a kid - and pretty much dig everything they’ve ever built: vintage and “modern” iterations, both. As far as the 95000: I have gotten each of the evolving major loopers they’ve put out, starting with the 2880, then on to the 45000 (with separate footswitch) and now this one. All of them share the extremely cool basic layout which combines an old-school, analog box-type vibe with high-end digital capability, and they have more or less evolved in sequence, adding drum samples and some additional functionality and memory along the way. The 95000 is essentially the 45000...with the addition of two more channels, an all-in-one layout (no more separate footswitch accessory needed) and some new drum loops. Plus other technical / spec enhancements which are a little over my head but probably matter to some people. In short, these are super user-friendly, plug and play, intuitive, and a ton of fun if you dig looping. I go into something of a trance on these, just laying down parts and dropping improvs over the top for hours on end...they’re also great for working out harmony leads or other secret experimentations before you take something into the world. Solid product, quite reasonable price, and very durable - grab one if you can...it’s perfect for the casual-to-very serious user...EHX!!! Rock!!!
