Power for Telescope mount.
I've not used this to start a car but to power my Skywatcher telescope mount. This being the second one I have purchased as so please with the original purchase.
Great build quality and power lasts all night and more. All in a handy size package that comes with every attachment available. Great price for a great product.

Canon G11, image quality outstanding, wish I bought one sooner now.
Been after one of these since the G10 came out to compliment my Canon 7D. Image quality is brilliant and manual controls are the closest you'll get to a DSLR. Decided to buy a secondhand G11 as to new G12 to save about £100, as apart from the movie quality I feel not a great deal has changed to warrant paying out an extra £100 or so. I'm not interested in doing movies, but if you are, then I would go for the G12 as it is much better quality and you get the improved IS to boot.
I'd hesitate to call it a 'true' pocket camera as it is slightly to big for trouser pockets but in a jacket or waistcoat then this would be fine. The choice was buy a lens for my DSLR or this, this camera gives me more flexabilty. Ideal for hiking as not big and bulky. The canon G series are the gold standard and I can see why.
I would Highly recommend this camera if you want something (more) between the true pocket camera (point and shoot) and the DSLR.
You will not be disappointed.
I can't think of a dislike for this camera, it was exactly what I was expecting.

Great lens for the money
This lens is a cheap and cheerful lens and is great for starting off with until you can afford better glass. But for this money as far as I'm concerned you can't really go wrong.
Most of us probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a photo taken with a lens triple the price of this any way.
But the old adage with regards to photography is the lens is the most important part, if a £40 pound lens is put on £1500 body, then the whole set up will only be a as good as the cheapest part.
Know the limitations, don't expect too much and snap away!
I bought one of these due to the cheapness of these secondhand, I will, like the person I bought it off, upgrade at a later date (funds allowing).
