Poor quality and potentially dangerous
Made by a company called ABS and located apparently in Holland, the QR code on the box containing the master cylinder stated this to be an aluminium cylinder with a bore diameter of 23.8mm (suitable for a Vauxhall Movano and similar) but the actual cylinder is cast iron, as can be seen in the photo. I was told by ABS that it's a direct replacement for the aluminium cylinder. On fitting the cylinder and filling the cleaned reservoir with new brake fluid, the push rod was operated which highlighted an issue, in that the travel wasn't smooth but instead had an area of resistance. The system was bled using vacuum, pressure, and scan-tool methods, giving a firm brake pedal, but with the engine running, the pedal sank to the floor under servo action, indicating a leak past the seals. This cylinder is definitely not OE quality. I've lost my money and wasted time and brake fluid. This was the cheapest cylinder available, and it didn't work, proving you get what you pay for.

The clamps as Renault intended
If you have problems with chuffing injectors, stop messing about and just buy this modified-clamp kit. Apparently, Renault did a recall on these engines because the original clamp wasn't up to the job, leading to injectors leaking gases into the cabin. I've destroyed an injector getting a caked-in one out, and have since had issues with other injectors, so this kit is a godsend. It's expensive and you'll forever gnash your teeth that your van or car wasn't part of the recall, but it's the only way to get sufficient clamping pressure without stripping any threads. Consider a seat cutter/cleaner, too, and also buy new shrouds, 'O' rings and washers, of course. Technically, the injector pipes should be changed every time, too, although no-one ever does, least of all Renault, so expect to pay about £30 each for new pipes when you do the job and you can't stop the diesel leaks.

Too tall to be an 063 battery so not fit for purpose.
2 of 2 found this helpful Unfortunately, this battery was made out-of-specification for an 063 battery and was too tall, so wouldn't fit the application for which it was bought. There are strict parameters for these specifications, only the length of the battery varying by a few millimetres between manufacturers, but this one was at least 10mm too tall, possibly having been made in an 012 battery case, which is virtually the same but about 10-15mm taller. This doesn't sound like much, but this Autolite battery wouldn't fit a Ford Fiesta, which has a non-adjustable top battery clamp so wasn't fit for purpose as leaving it off would be dangerous, failing any future MoT tests. The dimensions of the battery were printed on the listing, but were incorrect, incidentally. If your application is height-sensitive, it's probably best to avoid this battery as even the stated dimensions are likely to be erroneous.
