Saitek Pro Flight Combat Series X52 (PS28) Joysticks

Excellent product...best joystick I have ever used.

I bought this primarily for the game Elite Dangerous. I downloaded the drivers from the Saitek site for Windows 10, which was no issue. My old joystick had issues with the buttons and needed replacing and I decided to go for this one. It's a great joystick. The joystick itself is fairly loose which may not be to everyone's taste. I have seen some hacks on youtube to fix that if you wanted to. The throttle has a nice grip but has a click mechanism so when you get to get to 75% throttle, it stops and you have to push a little further to get 100%. I am not keen on this and have not found a way to stop it, not sure if there is one. Overall the joystick and throttle are of great quality and have loads of programmable buttons to use. It's great for me and I have enjoyed using it.

HD upgrade drive

I wanted to try this drive as I think PC and laptops next big performance improvements will come from HD upgrades and improved read/write speeds. I am saving for a solid state hd but currently they are very expensive for fairly small sized disks, so this drive looked to be something worth trying. I installed the drive in my laptop (Dell i5, 4gb, Windows 7). My current drive was a 500gb 5400 rpm, so I was hoping for some improvement and got it. The machine boots quickly and when working on it I can see a difference in reading and writing times. I still plan to purchase a solid state drive but I feel this is a good hd and would recommend it and am in no hurry to get a solid state drive. All-in-all I am pleased with this and would recommend it.
