Dualit = toastie heaven.
I just love my Dualit Lite Toaster, it's chrome and red, superbly made, looks fabulous and works brilliantly. Decided also to buy the pair of toastie making - drop in frames because I like ham and cheese toasties, these make it so easy, when you need a toastie you want one now!..I've never had such a beautiful toaster, it sits in my kitchen just glowing = nice.
Also, have now decided to buy the matching Dualit Lite Kettle in chrome, and of course red, delivery shortly, faced with these two items on a dull morning - who could not be happy.

Hardy Ultralite 6000 DD Fly Reel.
Hardy have made a fantastic fly reel in the Ultralite range, the large arbour DD, now superceeded by the CA & MA types. I think they really pushed the boundary with the definition of 'large arbour' here but I find the size perfect for eliminating the line coiling that is the bug-bear of smaller reels crammed with tightly wound line, and contrary to some opinions, on the rod it does not look too big at all.
Superb quality build with an eye to ergonomics and looks and with well thought out user friendly features, captive spool nut, nice grip on the drag knob, nice light weight, not too wide an arbour - or too deep etc, with reasonable backing capacity.
The fact that these super reels can now be bought at half price is fantastic news and I have certainly taken advantage of this offer, more that once. A superb looking and functioning reel at at fantastic price, no downsides at all, great.
