I have never used one of these rakes before. I have a puppy chow chow never had one of these either lol. I find it really does the job. Its light to hold, has rake blades on either side, with different number of spacing between. For raking the under coat and the topcoat. Luna doesn't seem to mind so I know its not scratching her. I was worried about that before I purchased one. I don't think you can over rake or remove too much fur, as it glides through the fur if it has no matts or loose hairs to remove. Then I know her coat is done properly and the process starts the next morning. Everyday she is pin brushed, slick combes, raked, then a soft brush to finish her coat in the direction recommended for chow chow's. This tool is very efficient and knocks off at least 2hrs grooming time. It takes me 3hrs to groom her as it is. I would definitely recommend this product be part of your grooming kit. 5*

Brilliant! Mind blowing from the start. Heart-racing read, i love the series. Twice read and will definitely be read again, and again. Highly recommend The 3 book Godspeaker series, utterly fascinatingly wonderful!
