Beware of using these scales on carpet!
3 of 6 found this helpful I used my previous scales in my bedroom which is carpeted. They gave accurate results on the carpet and gave the same results on the hard floor in the bathroom.
I have now tried two of these OMRON scales and both read about 20% low (2 stone in my case) in my bedroom but I tested the second one and it gave correct readings in the bathroom. There is no warning that I have seen not to use these scales on carpet. So be aware they wont work on carpet.

No good as trickle charger for car
I bought this to leave plugged onto my classic car battery to keep it topped up because the car is left standing for long periods. But contrary to the description there is no blocking diode. So it discharges the battery more during the night than it charges it during the day. Totally useless.

Tissue paper is stronger than this stuff.
Hardly has the strength to hold itself together. In any situation where it is subject to wear it just crumbles.
