Works right out of the package.
I love this sound unit because it is a clear announcement without the added echo of the original record player motor.

Always handy in a back pocket
The lens of this item magnifies as it should, unlike some other models that come in a thick plastic casing. Those other ones have a flat spot in the middle making the center blurry and out of focus. This magnifier comes in a lower profile because of the thin leather pouch and is perfect to slip into a back pocket for when it's needed.

Fisher Price Little People ...Michael
My grandson loves all his Little People figures. I got him "Michael" so he'd have all the main characters that appear on the Little People DVD's that he loves to watch.
