Well worth the expense
The sound quality of the SACD is better than the DVD-Audio. The second disc on the one i have has title listing issues where upon the track listing does not match the track number on the disc.

The best sub £500 amplifier available if you dont like it too loud
1 of 2 found this helpful This amplifier's problems, it runs very hot and it does not do 'loud'
Paint can peel from the top of the amp with age, original 1984 models suffer from capacitor failures.
They are quite heavy for the size but if you get a very well looked after 1990s model then keep it as they do hold their value quite well.
Value around the £200-£300 price point.

It's a budget item but for around £40 to £60 GBP it is one of the best at this price point
I bought this item just to copy a 100 or so old vinyl records onto my computer, its more than capable of this task copying analogue audio into at max 16bit-48kHz via the USB port on the item.
I can recommend this MM/MC step up transformer and i do give it a five star review but it has to be said the item is a ''budget item'' designed to be used with other ''budget Hi-Fi equipment'' so if you are expecting ''true high-end sound quality'' do look at spending around £800+ on a ''true hi-end'' MM/MC step up transformer as this Project item, whilst very good at it's respective price point, is more designed at the analogue to digital archiving than serious listening.
Project's sister company ''Musical Fidelity'' make a true high end design in the ''MX-Vinyl'' MM/MC with adjustable load settings to suit a vast range of Phono pick up cartridges.
