A reasonable old kit
There is plenty on forums about the accuracy shortcomings of this kit but it makes up well and looks like a Dauntess when finished. The decals are good.

A useful reference
This is well produced and a useful source of information on the type. Useful pictures; some detail drawings or more specific text would have helped clarify subtypes for the model makers who are likely to be a large part of the target readership. Gordon's other book on US Aircraft in the Soviet Union is clearer on Soviet use of actual DC-3s.

Good value kit that may need aftermarket decals
A very decent kit, whose engineering closely resembles the Minicraft DC-4 and DC-6. Moulding is rather less fine than those kits. I haven't tried the decals yet but the quality of printing is not very inspiring. The instructions appear to be clear but there are no paint or FS references for the colours. Good value compared to many current prices
