Seems a good product for someone with little interest in such things.
It does all that I want, and umpteen things I don't want or need. It would be nice if all the unnecessary apps/widgets could be deleted completely.
The stylus pen is a good idea, better than clumsy fingers!
I have not responded to the battery life question as I tend to have mobile 'phones turned off most of the time, only time will tell.

Updated - but why?
2 of 6 found this helpful Office 2000 did all I ever want, why add all these features that 75% of users never use, likewise Windows 3.1 and AutoCAD in DOS did all I want.
But it brings a bit of money into Microsoft with all these pointless upgrades, it's time they got stable OS's before they do upgrades.
