A very good read.
This book is extremely well researched and well documented. There are copious references to confirm the accuracy of the facts stated. there are also many photographs to back up the content and to add interest.

Clear and understandable explanations of the problem of suffering.
The writer has done much research and has great experience in lecturing on the subject. He has put his lectures into book-form for those of us unable to attend his courses. Although there are some sections that require considering quite deep philosophical ideas and terminology, the writer explains the concepts well and almost all of the book is accessible to any reader. The author achieves this by including many helpful anecdotes and illustrations. His use of humour in a sensitive way helps to keep the book entertaining. This book is to be recommended to help those who may be assailed by doubts about the absolute goodness of God as they see the suffering in the world.
