35th Anniversary Barbie - Great Collectible - Great value!
3 of 3 found this helpful 50 years ago I received my beautiful Barbie doll, and, unfortunately, I gave her away when I thought I was "too old" for dolls. When I saw the 35th Anniversary Blond 1994 Barbie Doll on Ebay, I was immediately taken back to those wonderful "Barbie" years, and decided to order this great reproduction. Although "she" does not exactly replicate the facial features of the original Barbies of early years, the likeness is good, the outfit is perfect, and seeing the doll in her black and white swimsuit brought back that wonderful feeling of good times spent playing with Barbie! 35th Anniversary Barbie comes with a replica of the vintage box, her sunglasses and black shoes, and a stand. I would recommend this product as a great addition to a Barbie collection. I bought one to keep in the display box, and one to use as a display doll for vintage Barbie outfits. Great collectible - great value for a reasonable price!

Wonderful children's book -great value
This book was recommended to me by a friend, and is an illustrated version of the 1950's song. The illustrations are bright and colorful; it is an adorable book for a young child, and for adults who are young-at-heart, particularly those who know and love the song "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!" We read it to our 3 year old granddaughter on Christmas Eve, and it will certainly become a holiday reading tradition! The story of a little girl who wants, and receives, a hippo for Christmas, is whimsical and humorous. What WOULD you do with a hippo in your house??:) We accompanied the book with a singing stuffed hippo that was also purchased on e-bay! I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading to children, and who enjoys the humor of the old 1950's Christmas song.
