So apt since "Z" appears everywhere when least expecte.
The memory of this film is literally etched on my mind. Since childhood, when I couldn't resist scratching "Z" into just about everything, through to getting it off the telly (albeit with adverts in the middle). I was delighted to find it on DVD for sale on e-Bay. Loved it all over again, especially "Zorro", his adversary, the big fight at the end, along with the old family priest. I especially like the bit with the candle at the start of the fight. There are nice references back to this film in the sequel, "The Mask of Zorro".

Omen III The Final Conflict (DVD)
This 3-part chiller comes to its final climax but there are a few anomolies inconsistent with the previous two in the series! Bugenhagen's seven sacred daggers of Megiddo are once again miraculously preserved and come into the hands of the dedicated priests, despite the fact that one appears to have been previously stolen by a workman. The English Hunt creates the solecism of allowing Damien to lead the pack ahead of the Huntsmen and the Master - but it's all in a day's plot! Finally the denouement was, to me, somewhat weak. The probability that the Christ-Child was already killed by His mother is unresolved and I am still trying to work out how the original seven daggers required to kill Damien in Part I eventually came down to only one - and that wielded by a woman! But an even greater mystery remains in that Bugenhagen (Leo McKern)who features strongly in Episodes I & II never gets a mention in the credits - but perhaps I am being a bit "picky"? I bought it to complete the series!
Early New England and New York Heraldic Book Plates (18 - Paperback NEW Richard

A total waste of money.
This was a huge disappointment. As a collector of heraldic bookplates I expected it to be full of illustrations. Instead there is just one page (in an A4 size soft card-covered pamphlet.of eight photocopied pages and rven then the four images are of poor quality. Quire frankly I don't know how they have the gall to even sell it - especially at that price.
