The battery lasts about 1/2 hour so I recommend buying more that one battery, which I will do. You must continue to grip the hand trigger (sort of like pumping gas) which I assume is for safety reasons. If you don't like gripping it for the full 1/2 hour you will get tired, especially if you're not used to that grip, also remember you're dragging the hose around. Not a good item to give to your grandparents! Having said that I liked it and will continue to use it Better than a full blown power washer for my uses. It also comes with a handy storage sack which I did not expect.

functional just like new.
Fully functional just like my old one except like new, needed a new battery as expected. No scratches, clean watch and foot pod. Hard copy manual Identical to my pdf when I bought mine 10 years ago. Thanks.
