Great little camera
I wanted a good quality 4 mega-pixel camera that was small enough to fit my jeans pocket so I could take it with me every where. My other requirements were 2" screen, optical viewfinder (to save the battery), good battery life, tripod mount, video with sound, quick start-up (don't miss that shot), some manual adjustments and 3X zoom.
After reading some reviews ( I recommend Steves Digcams www.steves-digicams.com ) I settled on the cannon Ixus of Casio Exilim ranges set my self a £50 +P&P limit and started my search on eBay. Cannons are a bit pricey so I got this at bargain price of £46.
Don't be fooled by the mega-pixel race you much better going for a good quality make than a high mega-pixel, before I got the Casio I tried a new Hitachi 5 mega-pixel it looked good but was complete rubbish compared to the Casio even my 7 year old 2 mega-pixel canon ixus took better pictures.
Pros.
Small size with quality feel
Good quality pictures, sharp with good colours
Clear easy to use menus
Basic functions available without having to go into the menu
Manual Focus (it is rare to find on this class of camera)
Fast review
Good quality display
Good battery life
Cons.
Only 1 minute videos
