1930's Motoring in Britain
How evocative ! Driving a Vintage or 1930's car is fun today, and most other road users love to see them being driven on the road and not trailered to events. But transport yourself back to the days in these films when even the driving test was new (1935), and the open road gave a real sense of freedom to those fortunate folk who were able to afford a car.
Drivers and their families were able to explore their own country, and progress in making cars was matched by broadening the horizons for their proud new owners. A love , and great enthusiasm for both the cars and for the varied countryside of Britain, is captured in these delightful films.
