Solid, secure, always at the ready.

I like this safe the best. I bought some electronic safes and they are nice accept they run on batteries. Batteries die and then you need the key to access. All fine and good but if it is an emergency (home invasion) and the batteries are dead so are you. With this mechanical safe it is always at the ready.

Nice hand held scanner.

Looking for a small hand held portable scanner. This fit the bill. A little bit larger than a Kenwood tk3180. Will upgrade antenna to get better reception. It does eat batteries so get some rechargeable ones. Have not used the sentinel software yet to upgrade and program. It works good enough out of the box. Listening to local fire, police. Very cool. Happy with my purchase.

Good software

So far so good. Wasn't to hard to figure out. Youtube helped with some basics info but could not find and acutal instruction video. What I learned got me through it. Seems to be able to program more than just the radio I have. Now I have to buy a different radio and try programming it.
