The End of The Affair
An excellent film, well-written, well-acted, and wonderful enigmatic music. Such a delight to watch. The story draws you in from the beginning, and takes you right through the complex emotional lives of the characters, until the final sad ending. It's like listening to a love story from a close friend or family member.

The Straight Story - starring Richard Farnsworth
A simple, lovely story about an old man who journeys across the USA on his lawnmower tractor to see his ailing brother he's not spoken to for years.
The sincere acting, the beautiful country locations, and the lack of any profane language or 18+ "adult" scenes make this one of the nicest films I've ever seen. It's all so believable.
It probably tells the story of some of my or your family and the complexities we weave into our lives and how it's always the simple, straight solutions that work best.
One of the best DVDs I've ever bought. It's timeless. Thank you.
