ideal 1st iPod for an 8 year old !!
4 of 6 found this helpful I bought this for my 8 year old daughter as a factory refurbished item for £22.
It's metal case and simple controls make it idea as it will not be treated with to much care!! 4gig is plenty of room for all her music and she has no trouble selecting and finding her music or games on the device, The monochrome lcd display is nice and clear the backlight feature is also very good.
The iPods size and weight make it sit well in your pocket unlike the larger slimmer type keeps her quite for ages till she starts singing justin beaver

Picture flickers and not very clear wouldn’t recommend really cheap for a reason
Number plate fits well but that’s where it ends the camera is really poor picture quality is dull and fuzzy but now far to much of an effort to pull all the wires back out so give up on the idea of a reverse camera for now
