Great value guitar case!
1 of 1 found this helpful This case is a great deal! For a few more dollars than a good quality gig bag, you can have a decent hard case that protects your guitar & looks great. Don't expect perfection for the price. I ordered 2 & both had some minor imperfections (material trapped under the tweed fabric in some places). The lock & key are cheap also. Other than that, this is a great case for storing around the house or lugging your guitar around to friends house. I don't recommend it for the traveling musician but, definitely worth it for the average Joe. You can't beat this price with free shipping!

EVO is the way to go!
1 of 1 found this helpful I couldn't be happier with this product! I've recently refretted 2 guitars using this wire after being so happy with the results from the 1st one. It's a bit more difficult to work with than nickel/silver wire, due to its hardness, but we'll worth it. I made the original purchase, solely because it was gold, to match the hardware on my guitar, but will use this on every guitar that needs frets. I love the extra height (great for players that bend a lot). Bends are super smooth & vibrato is a breeze. The strings do not dig into these & give that "scratchy" feeling, like they do in nickel/silver & no indentations or grooves are left from the lower round wound strings. They are said to last 4-5 X's longer than nickel/silver...time will tell? I can easily see that though. There's not a bit of wear on mine yet, & I do A LOT of bending. As for the install...the wire is pretty tough (a little softer than stainless steel) & will most likely take a toll on your nippers. I found that the wire will chip if snipped too fast when you're nipping the ends flush with the fretboard. I had no problem when I squeezed slower. Other than that...it files beautifully & polishes up easily. As far as tone, some people worry about harder fretwire making their tone too bright. I didn't notice any change, and if it is brighter....use a thicker or smaller pick, that'll darken up your tone.

My “go to” tele bridge
Great quality & I love the compensated saddles, setting the intonation is so much easier with them.
