Forget RTX, this is the best bang for your buck.
This video card is an example of bigger is NOT better. I won't spell out the details because you can find them on the MSI website.
What I am impressed with is the cooling. The card's fan does not turn on unless the GPU is over 50 degrees. So unless you're gaming it will never turn on. This saves the fan's bearings and prolongs the cards life. When you are gaming the card is quiet. I cannot hear it in my Razer Core.
Last but not least is the size. It is tiny. I cannot believe it is overclocked and performs the same as a dual fan setup. I have stress tested it via Heaven Unigine and not only does not not thermal throttle it remains quiet after ten+ minutes of stress testing.
I highly recommend this card.

Great video card for the gamer in the family.
3 of 3 found this helpful GTX 1080 is a fantastic video card. With prices, mostly thanks to miners, for the 1080 near the prices of the 1070 TI I recommend everyone get a 1080. Plays all of my games amazingly. Why this card and not another brand, because they are all using the same RAM/GPU, well it comes down to cooling and size. This card runs very cool all of the time (never gone above 80 degrees in Furmark) and it is a relatively small card. Not ZOTAC mini size but it is smaller than many 1070 TI cards out there.
