SSD in a surveillance camera system
2 of 2 found this helpful I wanted to buy a surveillance camera system and install an SSD drive instead of a regular hard drive because I wanted to install it in a bumpy camper van. A surveillance camera system salesperson told me that an SSD would not work in a surveillance system but I bought this PNY SSD drive anyway. I had to fabricate four L-brackets to mount the SSD but it works like a charm.

The LED unit works great but make sure it will fit your camera
I installed this in a Q-See camera but had to make modifications to make it fit. Works great if you reverse the wires to match the polarity in this particular camera.
