Soldering Rework Station
1 of 1 found this helpful I have finally gotten around to using this iron and the heat gun several times in the past couple of weeks. Both the Soldering Iron and Heat gun work so much better than the 25/40 Watt iron I was using. The both heat up in seconds instead of minutes of which is a BIG bonus . I also found the the different size tips for the heat gun are quite useful and work well, and the soldering iron came with several tips. I looked at several stations with and without the heat gun and to me this was the best bang for the buck. I'm a hobbyist and I haven't yet done any soldering or removal of such components as IC chips, but for everyday general soldering and delicate soldering this station exceeded my expectations.
October 2018 - The soldering iron temperature setting no longer works and the temperature wont heat up past 22 degrees Fahrenheit. I've ordered a new chip for it hoping it alleviates the issue. Until then it was a great work station, just not too enduring.

Great Guitar Speaker.
I wanted to change out a speaker in a 1x12 guitar cabinet I built, but I didn't want to spend a lot of cash. I found this speaker and several good reviews on another website so I decided to try one. The speaker is VERY articulate, nice lows, smooth mids and punchy highs. I'm pushing this speaker with a CARVIN V3m head. if you want a good but inexpensive speaker for your guitar I'd try one of these out.

Works quite well, especially for the cost
1 of 1 found this helpful Like many of you, I had a handful of VHS tapes I wanted to convert to Digital and eventually DVDs just in case the tapes broke or failed. The software is simple to install and you'll be up and recording probably in less than 1/2 hour. As far as video quality it records "exactly" as your VHS player displays it on your TV. Just make sure your VHS player is aligned (most are self aligning) and that your tape head is clean. I haven't mastered the editing yet, however it seems pretty straight forward and simple. You can also convert the digital recordings so you can edit the video with other software.
