Quiet & lightweight
Does not work with a lot of the older cameras or even some relatively new models so beware when buying this lens and check with Nikon first. The lens however gives very good results on the cameras it does work with, it's lightweight and low cost so is not a financial disaster if dropped, but don't expect it to work afterwards. The build quality is cheap, although as I said the optical quality is very good for the price.
