Wish I was there !

Having heard about this concert for years I was intrigued when it came out on dvd. Having seen the Stones on the Bridges to Babylon and Bigger Bang tours it was quite an experience watching this dvd. Technically the footage is not as good as recent concert dvds - but what really counts is the show and the music, and the Stones were in top notch form foe this show. Dvd is a must have for any serious Stones fan - highly recommended.

Self portrait of a charming rogue

If you are a fan of Errol Flynn then you will probably enjoy this book. Having already read a couple of biographies written by other people this book does come across as somewhat of a whitewash, but of course it is expected that an autobiography will usually cast the subject in a better light. Flynn certainly does not attempt to make himself appear as a saint by any means, but he does paint a portrait of himself as a charming rogue. Does get a bit long winded in parts but overall well worth reading.

Piggy in the Middle - Ha Ha

This film is an absolute must for Beatle fans - you will laugh until you cry. If you are not a Beatles fan then you probably wouldn't be interested. The song parodies are really spot on. Anyone even moderately familiar with the Beatles story will be laughing at all the jokes. Highly recommended.
