Thrilling - do not miss this.
This is the most intelligently scripted, brilliantly choreographed, elegantly filmed and fabulously acted programme of its genre - or any other - I have ever seen. It does not need to be fully understood to make compelling viewing, and multiple viewings only serve to heighten the thrill of watching it as the nuances in script, dialogue and fabulous acting open up through repeat scrutiny. The script writing is genius - and an utter education concerning the policies of the governance of America. Breathtaking. One complaint - some of the damned DVDs are either ticklish to run, taking a couple of goes, or don't run at all. Still - so good I have bought spares. Fabulous.

I love this elegant book which makes theoretical science accessible to all.
This is the second time I've bought this book - the last one walked! (Never lend really fantastic books!) Rupert Sheldrake has a rare combination of qualities; he is a brilliant scientist who writes with elegance and in a manner that makes quite complex concepts very accessible to anyone. How such an academic man can evidence kindness and gentleness as well as humility when writing a scientific book for the lay person is no mean feat but he does it with charm and sensitivity. The book is a must for dog lovers, animal lovers, people lovers and lovers of knowledge and challenge. Fab.
