Thick, protective and very light with great features.
2 of 2 found this helpful I wound up with a Taylor 310 Acoustic guitar & needed a case for it. I watched all the "Taylor" soft cases go for high $$$, then saw this one. It fits my Taylopr 310 like a glove. It is thick and protective. It has ample storage and is light and easy to tote.

Ascertain whether the sellers description is correct before paying.
It is a beautiful instrument, however, it was advertised to have a 1 7/8" nut width when in actuality, it is 1 3/4". It has a slight buzz on the "D" string and the strings seem to be to high from the heel end of the fret board. Not Martins' fault though, I love their products. I would not, however, have bought it for that price if it had been described acurately. I should have researched it more thouroughly but there are so few around, it is hard. I will fix the neck or have it done by a luthier and I am sure I will love the HD 28 VS.
Thanks,
Bobby Don

I love my Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Acoustic Electric 12 string guitar!!!!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful It was 113 degrees that summers day in Granbury, Tx. The guitar arrived well packed but extremely warm from being in that truck all day at 7:15PM on a Monday. I took it out of the packing and case, set in the corner on a guitar stand for 5 hours, then strung and tuned it, and by 1:30 am Tuesday I had it playing. Got some sleep, woke and tuned it again. At 4:05 pm, I had to be at church for sound check for a Gospel Sing Fest at 5:00 pm.
Sound check sounded good, I went back and fine tuned it again, then at about 5:30 I went on stage, hooked the Songwriter Deluxe Gibson 12 string to our Churche's sound system and did my thing. The Gibson sounded awesome!! The people rose and applauded to "This Old House" and I just shouted "Praise the Lord!" I and my church friends loved the Gibson. it sounded lika a whole orchestra of guitars playing.
