Only minor fitting required
1 of 1 found this helpful This product shipped very quickly and was in good shape when received. The finish is smooth ABS plastic; in fact the finish was so good, I installed it as is on my white car and it looked factory. The splitter only required minor filing where the "fog light ducts" curved sharply. I removed less that 1/4" of material with a round file. The splitter also has indentions for suggested screw mounts (included). While it also included four nuts and bolts, I opted instead to use the factory screws that secure the belly pan along the front edge. The splitter is designed to use these mounting holes. If one were to use the nuts and bolts included, I have no idea how you could tighten them without removing the entire front bumper. Overall, installation was a breeze and took less than one hour.

Awesome Value!
1 of 1 found this helpful This unit replaced a Hayward 1.5hp unit perfectly. I had installed the Hayward in 2018 and it cost $350. Now in Dec. 2021, the cost had risen to over $950, so it was worth a gamble to try this $150 unit. I am very pleased so far. It runs quieter than the Hayward and pumps just fine. I have about a 6 foot lift and 50 feet from suction inlet to pump. At this price, I can replace once a year if necessary! This is the bargain of the century. I was hesitant, but my fears have been dispelled. Buy it, save the cash so you can stock the pool's beer fridge!
