Not one for the novice!
This steam age coaling tower kit is not one for the novice. It is one for the experienced modeller. The instructions are often vague and confusing making the kit difficult to complete successfully. If you are new to modelling do a few easier ones first before attempting this one

The Good Beer Guide lists over 4500 pubs which are well worth seeking out.
The Good Beer Guide (GBG) is a must have for anyone who enjoys real pubs and real ale. Wherever you travel in the UK take it with you and you will always be able to find a country inn or backstreet boozer where you can sample the local ales. All pubs have been well vetted to ensure they are worthy of entry into this independent and prestigious volume. Discover the whereabouts of all the breweries both large and small and all the beers produced by them. The GBG is now in its 39th year and I have been a regular user over much of this time. I have visited many wonderful pubs in different parts of the country that I would never have been aware of without the GBG. So if you love real ale buy the GBG and don't leave home without it!

Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes-boxed set of 14 DVDs.
Many actors have played Sherlock Holmes and whilst Jeremy Brett was good he is not in the same league as the great Basil Rathbone. This is a collection of 14 DVDs which was bought as a present for another Rathbone fan,my brother. These 14 stories, one of which is the well-known Hound of the Baskervilles, were not written by the creator of Sherlock Holmes,Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but were produced during the war.I used to get a real thrill watching these stories as a child in the fifties and even now, fifty years on,the wonderful introduction with Holmes and Watson, faces hidden, slowly walking together at night in the swirling mist accompanied by appropriate music still sends a shiver down my spine! This collection is a must for any Holmes/Rathbone fans.
