Excellent product - use sparingly

Such a pity - it isn't very effective.
I am always looking for ways to stop slugs and snails eating my hostas and pansies. Was delighted to see this, however it hasn't worked very well in my garden. I *think* it may work quite well in relation to plants in pots but in beds the slugs seem to be able to bypass it somehow - even though I put nearly half the packet around just one hosta! Also, it is not effective against snails as their shells protect them from the drying (killing) effect of the wool. As slugs and snails generally attack the same plants it seems doomed to failure. Used the whole packet on two pots and part of a bed - so not cheap.
