Over priced Chinese made reproduction !
0 of 1 found this helpful Cost me almost Β£100 by time it arrived from the USA which originally came from China... I thought I was getting a good quality USA made product... the first time I tried to use it the crank shaft broke loose from inside the small cam shaped piece the end of the flat bar goes into ... so I thought instead of paying lots of money to send it all the way back to the USA I decided to weld it properly to the shaft ... which should have been done in the first place ... it now works as it should ! I also had to sand the paint off the lower part of the shaft so it would fit into my metal bender ! I can't figure out why it had to travel all the way from China to the USA then all the way over here to the UK...why can't it be imported from China to the UK and cut out the expensive American middle man ???

Pipe bender !
This is very heavy duty tool , quite easy to use after you get the base securely mounted on something that aint gonna move because you really need to pull very hard on the handle to bend the larger diameter pipe ... my only complaint with it is the raised part on the base is not quite high enough to catch the pipe dies properly to stop them turning when applying increased pressure on the handle... it cams it's self over the stop piece on the base , so I'm going to have to raise it slightly by bolting a little piece of flat bar to the side of the stop block on the base to correct this design flaw ! Otherwise it's a good solid piece of kit ...it comes in a large yellow plastic carry case about the size of a large suitcase which is very heavy !

Good Value for the money !
Good biscuit jointer for the money it cost me ... does what it's supposed to do, got plenty of adjustment to set it up !
