Needs more guide combs!

It works very well to trim and shape! It's also a great price, but it needs more guide combs so you can cut to longer lengths.

Absolutely a beast of a reel! I use it catfishing and it's got plenty of power and it's a fast reel so you can pull up big cacats out of brush and downed trees. Love it!

Daiwa bg 6500

It is the middle of winter, so I have only had this reel out a couple of times. But, I have caught a few catfish with it already. This reel I sturdy, strong and well made. It is also extremely smooth and very fast for a reel so large. Catfish alot of times will run right at you and the bg 6500 will more than keep up with the fish. The only thing I don't know about yet is the longevity of the reel... But, if I was a betting man, I would put my money on it doing so! All in all I couldn't be happier with daiwa's bg 6500.... Great reel!!!
