Hanks @his best...
This movie is one of my favorites; I watch it about once/month. The soundtrack is stuck in my head and that's a good thing. Tom Hanks is a modern genius.

A Conversation With Jim...
2 of 2 found this helpful If, like me, you're a LONG term fan of Jim Garner, you should read this book. If, like me, you watch Maverick and/or Rockford daily, read this book.
For me, it was more like having a conversation with him than reading his book. I've heard him talk thousands of times since the 50's; movies and TV; familiarity. It's written in his dialect; the phrasing is his.
And, what he tells you can't be found anywhere else; much information directly from the source and his perspective. For instance, he fought (sued) two of the Lions of Hollywood and won.
I was through the book so fast I still don't quite understand it, except to say that it was him talking, not me reading. The entire time I could almost hear him.
If you're reading this review, read this book.
