Getting stuck

I knew it was a used reel but I thought it would be functional..only on my first day of fishing, I started to just drop the line in the water with a 2oz sinker and it "got stuck". The release clip then would not function properly. I knew it was used but at least thought it could last me a season or two....don't buy used reels

The ball make a difference

Had two rhule float switches that would sometimes not shut off or just would not drop completely an stay running the pump, the metal ball makes the difference..
