Outstanding eBay seller, excellent communications, very accurate description, great packaging and very fast shipping. The Tektronix TDS3GV Module for TDS3000 Series Oscilloscopes is in excellent used condition, with no signs of wear at all on the contacts. I have added this seller to my favored sellers list for their many high-quality items, great pricing, very good customer service and very fast shipping.

TEKTRONIX TDS3BATC Li-Ion BATTERY for TDS3000
02 Dec, 2019
If you have a Tek TDS3000series scope, with TDS3BATC you can go truly portable
TDS3BATC allows Tek TDS3000series scopes to work away from AC line power for up to 3 hours. This helps in at least 2 situations: a) field use, and b) floating the scope. The first is self-explanatory. The 2nd, floating, enables non-ground referenced differential measurements using a single channel. Also enables breaking "ground loops", often known for hum in audio circuits. Tek warns against floating at more than 40V away from ground, but that is mostly to protect careless users from shocks from touching "hot" BNC outer shells and probe outer conductors while floating. With care, floating limit could be higher. Before the lithium-ion version of this battery, there was a NiCd version. The NiCd version was noticeably heavier and only boasted 2 hours op per full charge. The only disadvantage of newer lithium version is that it should not fly on passenger aircraft in cargo holds in fully charged (90 Watt-hours) state. Tek recommends it should fly at around 30% charge state. I would also recommend for same reason that it also be stored when not in use at full charge, but closer to 30%. Battery can charge in scope at about 4W, but there is an external fast charger available (TDS3CHG) that will charge it at 25W.
TEKTRONIX 2465A DM 350MHz 4 Channel Oscilloscope

Feature-packed Tek 2465ADM scope
Tek's 2465ADM is successor to 2465DMS and predecessor of 2465BDM. Besides being a very high bandwidth scope (advertized as 350MHz but easily capable of 400), it has options to make it very useful: DMM and Frequency Counter (both built in). It cost around $10000 new circa 1987, but can be found on ebay for a tenth working correctly or even for a fiftieth in need of ER intervention. Which price tier you aim for should depend on your intervention skills. It is not as simple to work on as a Heathkit, even with a detailed manual, so aim low only if you are talented at making 2 or3 bad ones into a good one. There are a handful of qualified ebayers who can lengthen their lives for those not talented to do this themselves. Fortunately these scopes are from the repairable era, whereas many newer ones are made of unrepairable fluff.

Tektronix 2465B: a scope lover's dream
Tektronix 2465B is an all around superlative oscilloscope and 2465BCT (which adds a frequency counter option to it) makes it even nicer. Analog scopes may be in danger of extinction as digital "toy scopes" take their place, but Tek 2465B were best sellers in their day (early 90s), and were made to be repairable, unlike their newer placetakers which become instant junk upon failure. Fortunately, there are still a few vendors around who still know how to take care of them, allowing us scope users to continue to enjoy them. Can't see why anyone would settle for a lesser scope.
