Does the job
Brilliant bit of kit..

It’s more for the USA style hinges, not the UK.
I like to think I’m a very good DIYeer, I had a run of doors to do thought I’d buy one of these save some time, I was using 4” hinges & had to set the royobi at 3 1/2” as 4” on this machine was about 4 1/4” in English money and was cutting to big with the router.
The royobi comes with its own cutter, but I still found myself buying a 12.7mm cutter from screwfix & and fitting a 30mm guide bush to my router, the cutter supplied removed 8/10mm too much without guide bush & 2/3mm too much with it.
Last thing I found was that when you are routeing that the guide bush would slightly, hit the part where the sliding mechanism is, and this would transfer to the door, I found myself putting sellotape around this part so the guide bush had continuity.
I think it’s more aimed at the yanks than the uk, you will still have to get chisels out if your gonna use this kit in the uk for sure.
