very happy, will purchase exact one again if necessary
I was looking for a portable dvd player that was quiet and had a very good screen, this has both, prolly the best screen of any portable dvd player. it also has brightness setting and different modes of sound, and the speakers can get very loud. I also wanted the controls to be at the bottom half, not under the screen like the swivel ones have-if u lose the remote then it can be hard to use the buttons directly under the screen.

not bad for your money
not bad, buy this for casual watching only. if u really want quality then go for the 9" sony portable. the sony has an anti-glare sorta screen and better audio and better button functionality. this Sylvania is better suited for something like putting on a movie to keep u company when u stay late at the office or for ur kids on road trips. so if u need one for consistent use then pick up a sony; if u need one to just put on a movie to keep u company then go with this sylvania
