big sound, little unit
1 of 1 found this helpful The perfect no frills small unit. Haven't really road tested due to virus shutdowns but home bound sound is fantastic. I originally bought for a backup type amp but am quickly becoming enamored by its tonal qualities. Over the past few years I have been trying to reduce my equipment footprint and lugging around effort. I have another TC Electronics amp (BH250) along with a 2x12 cab and a 2x10 cab. These have been fantastic in small and medium venues - larger venues all seem to have their own sound systems which tap into my setup. Now, with the addition of this unit, I can even run my Rickenbacker in stereo without breaking my back hauling around a lot of equipment. The sound coming out of the BAM is smooth and even. It can get very very thin or very very fat and everything in between controls are solid and even. The only thing I would say that might be missing is an 'auxiliary in' but that can be side stepped with a small mixer. All in all a great buy for a very big sounding little D amp that can almost fit in a jacket pocket.
