A very good book to make children appreciate snakes
This is a very good book and my daughter now wants her own snake named "dorothy". This has undone the damage my wife has done by giving our daughter a children's bible which portrayed snakes as evil. I shall not be giving my child any more religious materials!

My tiel is much happier
I bought this item for my lone tiel since he is lonely in the daytime. After a week of use, he is much happier - playing with his toys more & he is also more playful outside his cage. I highly recommend this item for single birds which are already bonded with their owners (for new birds there is a risk of them bonding with the mirror instead of the owner).

Not for cockatiels
The bar spacing is 0.8", dangerously similar in size to the size of a cockatiels head. Bar spacing must be significantly smaller than a birds head, so that even if they push it cannot get stuck. It cannot be larger either, as birds are known to twist their heads and not be able to untangle themselves to get back in. The recommened size is 1/2" to 5/8" for cockatiels, and obviously less for finches and budgies. Some people risk up to 0.75", but this cage is dangerously beyond - as even the 0.8" size is inconsistent, larger in certain areas. Avoid for anything but mid size parrots unless you want a strangled small bird.
