Great replacement for the more costly XDR-f1HD
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this discontinued Sony model as a replacement for my 9 year old XDR-f1HD which has been experiencing some problems. Since it's basically the same radio I knew what to expect regarding sensitivity and more importantly, selectivity. Since the FM band is so crowded with stations in my local area I need the selectivity to listen to more distant stations and this radio does the job. I am pleased with the sound quality as well.
