Stunning R&B
3 of 3 found this helpful The tracks on this album are much more simple that on other Mariah albums, toneing down the vocals and turning on the R&B beats. Mariah moves away from her Pop routes, but still pleases fans with ballads such as "Whenever You Call" and "Butterfly", however they have also under gone the transformation of her new found influence. The hip hop style first single, "Honey" is her third single to debut at #1 in the US, and one of only 16 tracks ever to achieve this.

A great second album
0 of 1 found this helpful Christina's second album in america shows a different side to the sweet american teen pop singer. Xtina moves towards hip hop, but still succeeds in producing amazing ballads, such as the hit singles "Beautiful" and "The Voice Within".
Although Christina does show off her vocal abilities more in this album, she does sounds strained at time, as she pushes her vocal range to the very limits.
Although a great album and with all the singles being epics, the image change was too much for a lot of people. Despite this the album was still a hit, and I predict that her up and coming 3rd album will be much more of a success, as people begin more to accept the person that she has grown up to be.
