Still the best
4 of 4 found this helpful I had the 350D and it was excellent. The 400D is the successor to the 350D and is without doubt in my view the best camera in it's class on the market today. It has many standard features and many custom settings. You would be hard pushed to take a bad photograph with this camera. I recommend using canon lenses or, if you find them too expensive then Sigma lenses are an excellent alternative. Study the user manual, play around with the features and settings and experiment with it. Remember, you can erase everything you don't like so, no wasted expensive film to worry about. You can always go back to full auto mode to be on the safe side and, the camera will take care of everything for you. I would never by a camera that didn't have Canon emblazoned on it.
