Cheap but not cheerful

True it is very cheap. But the construction is not bad. The point is that it is supposed to be strong enough to use in daylight (not sunlight of course). Either mine was not working or they all need to be used in very subdued lighting even darkness to be effective. I have yet to find a better, not too expensive, version

These do not always and first time catch the paired signal. A little perseverance with pairing and it is brilliant; never fails in my experience.

Brilliant

Not just for the children on holiday but for hungry and non-squeamish adults. Robust, easy to handle and, specially, to empty. We used the bird feeder fat balls for bait - saves killing a fish! Brilliant but anchor it down well and leave for a whole tide-cycle, not much more.
