Twilight of the Thundergod /Viking Metal at Its BEST!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Twilight of the Thundergod is by far the best death metal cd I have ever heard. Technically the album is very clean and well produced. Amon Amarth document Viking heritage through their lyrics and incredible melodies, and this time the songs included a song about "Thor the Thundargod,son of Odin, protector of mankind". Epics included the Guardians of Asgaard. This album is so powerful it leaves me in awe. There is a dvd also, Amon Amarth at Summmer Breeze 2007. I feel fortunate to have seen this band in St Paul at Station 4 recently, so it was amazing to see their performance in front of a crowd of thousands. The setlist for the concert included Fate of Norns, Cry of the Blackbirds,Pursuit of Vikings, Death In Fire, Rhunes to My Memory, and my favorite Victory March, among others. Buy this cd if you like metal. Buy this cd ! It is incrdible!
