When I asked my 9 year old granddaughter what she wanted this year for Christmas, she told me, "Dork Diaries". When she received these books on Christmas Day, she was thrilled and excited to start reading them. When I talked to my granddaughter on the phone yesterday, she thanked me again for the books and said she had already read them, and she enjoyed them so much that she planned on reading them again. The author, Rachel Renee Russell, wrote this series of books specifically for girls ages 8-12. My granddaughter gave them a "2 Thumbs Up".
